Baldwin Aviation Involved in Article 85 Approvals for the Bermuda DCA
Apr 23, 2009 :: Baldwin Aviation has been accepted by the Government of Bermuda DCA as an approval method for those operators pursuing IS-BAO registration. Bermuda DCA established November 1, 2009 as the Article 85 compliance date (includes all other U.K. overseas territories - Cayman, British Virgin Islands, etc.). Although not required, DCA encourages the gaining of IS-BAO (International Standard of Business Aircraft Operators) registration as the preferred method of meeting compliance.In March 2009, Bermuda DCA reviewed the Baldwin Aviation safety program and honored us by providing a link on the DCA website as one of only two companies providing IS-BAO guidance and implementation. Baldwin Aviation offers SMS implementation with or without IS-BAO registration.
