NBAA Calls Upon Congress to Reject Ruinous User Fees, Tax Hikes in Big Airlines' FAA Funding Plan
Mar 12, 2007 :: Ed Bolen, NBAA president and CEO, testified last Thursday before the Senate Aviation Subcommittee of the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee that the airline-backed FAA user fee plan risks disaster for the national aviation system and for small and mid-size businesses in rural areas across the country. Bolen argued that the reauthorization bill is not a modernization plan, as the FAA claims. "The facts, and history, tell a different story," he said.
