The Human Element of SMS

Get a better understanding, in the context of SMS, of human performance issues that can lead to slips, lapses, errors and deviations. This course looks at the human element of the SMS including the effects of fatigue in operations, fatigue management and distraction management.

Safety Officer Workshop:

Leading and Managing an SMS Organization

This course is ideal for safety and risk managers who have had exposure to basic safety management theory and practices and want to learn how to improve their effectiveness in leading and managing an SMS for their organization. Attendees will learn how SMS components interface with each other, how to develop a basic training needs analysis, how to define safety objectives, and using basic descriptive statistics to communicate data.
